Tips for Dating Online - Turning Your Internet Fling into A Reality Date

Put yourself in a woman's shoes. Do understand the internet can be an unsafe place for a lady. There are stalkers, rapists and predators everywhere, and it is her job to weed out the good from the bad. You can't blame her for being a tentative to meet you.

Here are some tips to help you.

#1 Suggest a double date

Grab one of your single buddies and ask her to bring one of her single friends for a double date. A lady will feel more comfortable having a familiar face along with her. If you do not have any single friends suggest going out for a date with friends of hers who are in a relationship.

#2 Go on a public date

Suggesting a first date at your home or hers doesn't suggest you want to get to know her. It suggests that you want alone time with her or sex. An unsure woman is not going to feel comfortable in your home, and therefore it may ruin your shot for a second date. Great date places include a coffee shop, diner, restaurants, movie theatre, or ice skating rink! The more the people, the more safe she will feel.

#3 Offer to meet her

Cars can often scare women. Cars provide a secluded area where a woman could feel unsafe. Offer to meet your lady at a public spot above. She'll feel safer knowing that if anything happened, she can leave. A lack of car can make a woman feel trapped, like she has no where to go if you were a threat to her.

#4 Day versus Night

A night date leaves too much unknown such as driving arrangements if you decide to drink during the night, or visibility issues. Women pay extra attention to details when they are in an awkward or new situation, the day time lets them to do so with little left to the unknown.

#5 Talk to her

Assure her you are a safe, reputable man. Quote girls who commented on your myspace page or ex girlfriend's from the past. If you ever received a criminal background check for a job or military reasons, share that with her. In the United States, some states have websites where you can search for sex-offenders. Lead her to one of them, and emphasize that your name is not on there.

#6 Don't force it

Forcing or pressing the issue is just going to make her wonder why you want to meet her so bad. Ask her once or twice if she would like to meet, try the steps above, and if that doesn't work, move on, you can't talk to a computer forever. If a lady doesn't want to meet, then she doesn't want to meet. If you stop asking about meeting her, chances are once she trusts you, she will be asking to meet you!
