Playing hard to get in a relationship is a common. Men will usually meet women who tend to like the ideas of playing hard to get, and they will not be able to know how to deal with them.
There are various reasons why women play hard to get with men. It can be because she wants you to put in more effort in chasing her, and thus proving to her that you are serious about her.
But it can also be because she is simply not interested in you at all. Sometimes a man will assume that when a woman plays hard to get with him, she is definitely interested in him.
