10 First Date Tips to Ensure a Second Date, for Men and Women

Establishing yourself in the mind of your date is a science. If the chemistry is already there, keeping in mind a few of these tips will help ensure that the chemistry remains in tack.

 

1. Establish in your date's mind a scent that he/she will always remember you by. We all have animal instincts; increase your presents by deciding upon a particular scent that you want to project on your first date.

 

Regardless if you are a man or woman
, choose your fragrance wisely. Stick with it during the entire courtship. The scent on you will help to drive your date wild!

 

2. If the first date includes dinner, offer your date a breath mint after dinner, but only after putting a mint in your own mouth.

 

3. Keep the music in the car to a soft jazz or a smooth rock. (Music for him/her to remember you by). It would not hurt to select a special CD just for your date. In this way you will be addressing not only your dates sense of smell but his/her sense of hearing, as well.

 

4. Spend more time listening then talking, this will make YOU more interesting!

 

5. Dress simple yet sharp. You will now attempt to increase your chances of your date remembering you vividly, by sending signals to their sub conscious. Wear a colorful top tucked into a solid color paints or skirt. If female, wear a small amount of jewelry, a lot of jewelry will only distract him. Make sure the color goes well with your hair, skin and eye color.

 

The colorful (solid color) top, alone with the scent, the music, and the laugher should put you high on your dates list of people to call and see.

 

6. Women may want to select a natural finger nail polish. The older you are the more natural the color should be. Finger nails or nail polish that is too loud sends a non-verbal message to men.

 

7. Have fun. Laugh a lot, smile often. If negative thoughts come up about your date, replace them with positive thoughts.

 

8. Try not to pre-judge, least ye be judged. (Note for men: If a beautiful female walks pass you - do not look at her - keep your eyes on your date)

 

9. Try to stay away from conversations concerning politics and religion. If you want to know if your date believes in God, ask them and then quickly move on to another subject.

 

10. If you like your date; have confidence that your date will like you.
