The Most Overlooked Night Time Pickup Strategy

I've been ranting for two podcasts in a row about how bars & clubs are overrated places to meet MOTOS (Members of the Opposite Sex). And I'm famously relentless when it comes to harping on how trite it is to keep focusing on having "game" there. All of that's true.

And yet, take a wild guess what I'm going to talk about today.

But before I do, allow me to be perfectly clear. The world is indeed saturated with the same warmed-over advice about how to "game" each other when out on the town. But Sunday night, a flat-out wild realization hit me like a bolt of lightning while Emily and I was out atwella bar.

There is one angle of this whole "bars & clubs" shtick that I've never heard talked about anywhere. Karaoke "game".

So what caused this epiphany? Well, basically Emily and I have both known for quite sometime that karaoke joints tend to be naturally more social places than most bars. This is understandable. After all, you're in an "interactive" setting where the audience is self-generating the entertainment. This makes fellow co-participants want to talk to each othercongratulating or even co-conspiring with each other.

Sunday night was no differentexcept for two key events. First of all, there was the decidedly average woman
who booted herself at least two notches up any man's raw attraction scale upon belting out the World's Hottest Rendition of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats". Shortly thereafter, something even more mind-bending happened. A few minutes after completing my first "selection" - a particularly soulful one that nobody could have predicted I'd go for - Emily had several decidedly hot young women tap her on the shoulder, gaze longingly into her eyes and say something to the effect of, "Ohthat was so dreamy. How come my boyfriend can't be like YOURS?"

As if that wasn't shocking enough, the looks and comments actually RAMPED UP as the night progressed. Emily's "perfectly imperfect" take of "Hella Good" didn't hurt. Neither did hearing every chick's voice in the place singing along with my hard-practiced "Jumper" by Third Eye Blind.

So it hit me: Karaoke "game" - when strategized and executed correctly - has got to be the most naturally effective version of "night game" imaginable. Seriously. Get this right, and men and women BOTH can practically own the whole place, driving "interest-level" on the part of the opposite gender so rambunctiously in the process that people are practically throwing numbers and e-mail addresses.

Let's break it down. First, here's WHY:

1) It takes REAL CONFIDENCE to even get up there. Doing so provides HARD evidence.

2) You cause every hottie in the room to NOTICE YOU, even as you get this done without any shred of NEEDINESS whatsoever.

3) You get MAD SOCIAL PROOF without begging for approval (just for showing up, reallyeven if you're verifiably terrible)

4) Everyone understands you have a REAL PERSONALITY and that you might actually be FUN to hang out with.

5) You get to make eye contact with whomever you want from up thereall while in a position of leadership over the whole room.

Wait a minuteall of those bullet points sound familiar. If my head is on straight, ALL OF THE ABOVE READ LIKE THE BASICS OF CREATING ATTRACTION. And all in one simple step? Are you KIDDING ME?

No. I am most certainly not kidding you. Remember, however, that I did complicate matters by mentioning that both STRATEGY and EXECUTION have to be on-point. Otherwise, it ain't happenin' for you.

So you know WHY, here's HOW:

1) Get Up There

You have to participate in order to reap the benefits. And here's the best part: You DO NOT have to know how to sing. Think about it. There are people you can name off the top of your head who have RECORD CONTRACTS and can't carry a tune in a bucket. The strategy? Pick songs by those people! (Duh). Now, on the other hand, if you were the star of your high-school choir and/or you can sing along to the radio in the car like a freakin' rock starI don't want to hear any more excuses. The world is yours on a silver platter here. Sack up.

2) Plan Your "Set" Ahead Of Time

It's important to pick a few songs you think you could theoretically nail to the floor ahead of time. Then, get on iTunes and drop a lousy buck for each one. Then play them ten times in a row until they are STONE COLD. I know one guy who truly can't sing, but has some Weird Al song down so ridiculously that he brings the house down with it every time. Practiceit's worth it. Smoothness rocks even over raw talent in most cases.

3) Mix It Up

This is a major way to go from "participation" to "looks of awe and amazement accompanied by unsolicited approaches from everyone present". Say you decide you feel comfortable with a particular hip-hop tune. Next time you get up there, throw down something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Going from rock-station anthem to R & B classic works particularly well. Whatever the case, work hard to have at least one slower, libido-inspiring arrow in the proverbial quiver of tunes in your repertoire. If you are summarily freaked out by even getting up there for now, this can wait. But work towards it.

4) If You Already Have a Date, Sing To Him/Her

One time I busted out with "Sara Smile" to a woman
named Sara, who I'm pretty sure still talks to her friends about it even though the guy who did it is now marriedto someone else. What made the whole gig even more poignant is that there was NO CHANCE of guessing that a guy like me would pull that one out of the ether. Jaws dropped. Nice.

5) Bring Energy

You've heard that you need to bring high energy when "opening a set". This is no exception. In fact, "energy" equals "awesome" a shockingly high percentage of the time.

6) Collaborate and Be Social

High five others when they are done. Ask the next table over what they are singing. Find someone to sing the male/female duet with you (nice). Are you beginning to see how this can be like "shooting fish in a barrel"? Just leave the guns home.

7) Dance to Other People's Songs

Emily and I did this - when nobody else had - and what do you knoweveryone else joined us. Not only do you show some leadership when you do this, you validate whoever is on stage. Make friends, influence people, create attraction.

By now, you may be thinking, "How come I never figured any of this out before?" If you are like most, it's because you've long ago ruled out any chance of anyone dragging you on stage. Get over it, and watch amazing things happen.

It's possible that there is a perfect match for you out there who hasn't met you yet because they are one or two years out of their ideal age range. So with one click of a button a fun and feisty sixty-one year old could be left out even though she may look and act younger then the fifty-nine year old that makes the cut.

On the other hand it is never a good idea to begin a relationship with deception. But the longer you wait to tell the truth the harder it is going to be.

Of course the bigger question is if you really want to be involved with someone who considers youth to be a defining factor? Don't let society pressure you into changing who you are in an effort to fit in. You age is something you should be proud of because is a symbol of your experience and maturity. Even if you do choose to fib about your age to try and meet somebody don't let the lie consume you to the point that you feel embarrassed by the truth. You're at a nightclub scamming for babes. Things aren't going good. Looks like you'll be leaving the club like you usually do... alone. You think to yourself... "How do I meet women at nightclubs?" In this article, I will show you how.

The nightclub is a strange environment. Go to one, and you'll see women engaging in one of the greatest mysteries of all time - Dressing up sexy to get attention for men, then acting annoyed when men actually give them attention. So how do you overcome this obstacle? With some strategy and tactics. Let me share with you some of my favorites. They have become my favorites based one criteria the results the bring.

Nightclub strategy one: I'm not them

Put yourself in a beautiful woman's high heels. You're at a nightclub. How many times will you get approached? Once, twice? Hardly. Try ten times... or even more.

As a man who "gets it", this is actually to your advantage. Why? Because most guys are dumb, drunk and totally clueless when it comes to creating attraction.

Say to yourself right now... "I'm not them!"

Who are "them"? The men who offer to buy women drinks, kiss up to them in nightclubs and use lame pickup lines. All these actions accomplish one thing... loss of power. You don't want to communicate to a woman
that you aren't in control of yourself and out of your element.

You need to have this mind state - you are comfortable in your own reality, and nothing she can do will disrupt that comfort. Remember, there will be resistance when you approach a woman. It's part of the nightclub ritual. She's testing you. Are you in control of your own reality, or will you give up your power at the first sign of trouble? And in a nightclub, it's even more specific. Can you keep up a conversation with a woman that isn't exactly easygoing and friendly?

There are two kinds of resistance. One kind if from the "rude woman
" and it's very real. Too tough a nut to crack in one setting. If you approach women regularly, you will run into her kind once in a while. Don't take in personal. Move on.

The other kind of resistance is "give me an excuse to be friendly to you" resistance. If you are picking up on this vibe, press on my friend. She has given you the first indicator that she is interested in you.

Here's two ways to keep the conversation flowing. Charm and routine. My definition of charm is teasing a woman
in a way that makes her laugh. It communicates that you are both confident and fun to be around. This is a great formula for producing attraction, and it's a great way to avoid the "friendship zone".

Routine is a category for things like palmistry, handwriting analysis, magic, and astrology. Read books on any of these if you want to learn a few routines to make interesting conversation.

After creating conversation and passing her resistance test, you have two options. Stay and try to close the deal, or get her contact information and leave. Nightclubs are a tricky environment with lots of distractions such as drunk, dumb guys and her group of protective (and jealous) friends. You must be very skilled in "attraction conversation" to keep the flow going.

If you're not experienced with this yet I suggest you get her number and follow up later on your own terms. There are less chances to make errors this way.

Before this article gets too long, I'll give you a quick summary one other great technique for beginners. It's called the "buddy system", and is designed specifically for nightclubs. Get a friend to "scout" for you, and do the same for him. Have him approach a woman you like and say, "Hey there. You know something? I think my friend would really like you. He's..." and then have him talk you up.

Soon you show up and are introduced. This technique throws a woman
off balance, because her radar is programmed only for direct approaches. This makes the initial conversation with her a lot more easier.

In the end remember... it's just a woman at a nightclub. It doesn't matter if she likes you or not. Just talk to her. She expects you to. Practice communicating that you are comfortable in your own reality, and that you are different than every other drunk and dumb guy that approaches her.

If you are serving hot food, ask the restaurant chef how long you should keep it in the oven to warm it up. You don't want it to be cold, but you don't want it to be dry and overdone either.

Another romantic dinner for two can be found at your local deli or grocery store. They have many items precooked and ready to go. Romance cannot be bottled, of course, but your date will appreciate your special attention to what he or she drinks. Go easy on the alcohol, however. You or your date may drink more than you realize, in order to calm the nerves. Being tipsy or wobbly is not romantic OR attractive. Wine or sparkling water served in a pretty glass might enhance your meal.

Music

Music can definitely affect romantic feelings. Choose slow music and play it softly so you can hear each other talk. Instrumentals, classical selections, ballads, or acoustic guitar recordings can be soothing. If you want to go all out, ask one of your friends who play guitar, flute, or violin to come and play several pieces before dinner. But make sure they understand that they are not supposed to stay or there goes the romance.

Interruptions

For this dinner to truly be romantic, turn off the machines. Unplug the phone and FAX, turn off the cell phone, and take your date's cell when they come in the door, unless they are expecting an emergency call. Also remember to turn off the TV. Some people cannot stop watching TV, even if it is just the commercials. This can axe the conversation.

Neat and tidy

Last Saturday night, me and my crew headed out for a party over at Doug's apartment, a nerdy law school student, who always wears a funny t-shirt, knows how to drink, and strangely enough attract the women even though he typically makes a fool out of himself at these gatherings once the alcohol gets flowing. We sat around at his dining room table sporting our cool shirts and fashionable jeans, just waiting for the newcomers to arrive with Doug's party flyers in hand.

Shortly after our arrival, there was a desperate knock on the door, and a rush of people quickly came inside, mostly women of all shapes and sizes, along with a couple of guys wearing funny t-shirts. It made sense. Doug always gave out free beer at his parties, and college women are curious creatures, who love to tag along with each other for the ride. Once introductions were made, we sat back down at the table to start playing drinking games. After a couple of hours of hard drinking and laughter, we started to get fuzzy and then began the search for our lady of the evening. This is when the drinking games stopped and the blocking games began. I can't tell you how aggravating it is to have this happen to you.

Block #1 (The Friend-to-Friend Block)

So how do you know when you are getting blocked by your friend? The signs and symptoms can be quite obvious here, and they are extremely aggravating. Let's go back to the party and take a look at block #1, or the friend-to-friend block, as I like to call it.

Sporting his funny t-shirt, Doug quickly pulled his seat right up next to his top choice, leaving my cool shirts crew out in the cold. Once Doug made his choice, none of us could talk or flirt with this girl. When we tried to talk, he weaseled his way in closer to her, and started whispering God only knows what in her ear, making her blush. Doug quickly diverted any topic of conversation directed toward this beautiful stranger to his own personal display of male chauvinism. Suddenly, my good funny t-shirt friend was a complete stranger to us, as if he had walked in the front door with the party flyer crew. This friend-to-friend block technique is the most annoying, but in Doug's mind it was deserving, since he was king of the pad.

Block #2 (Dude-to-Dude Block)

Being blocked by Doug was bad enough, but things were about to get much worse. Let's return to the party once again for a "how to know lesson" on being blocked by other guys who are complete strangers to you.

My crew quickly sought other options at the table once Doug became preoccupied with his new obsession. We were hoping some fine ladies would notice our cool shirts and strike up a conversation. Although Doug was hitting on his new lady friend, my buddies and me started to have some success with some of the other ladies at the table, so he no longer became a concern. After a few giggles and some minor flirting, some of the males wearing funny t-shirts in the flyer crew stepped in for block number two. It was not known whether these men displayed a personal interest outside our drunken table to these women, or if they were assigned a block position to protect the girls before the party.

In any case this dude-to-dude block scenario is very common, and probably the most frustrating. The few guys that were there decided to take their girl "friend" and run out the front door, leaving only a handful of single, promising women at the table. All that was left were four flyer crew girls, and three cool shirts to mix and mingle. This wasn't all bad. At least we knew who was available and who wasn't, but our options were becoming increasingly limited, so we had to make good on what was leftover even if that meant sharing with one another!

Block #3 (The Girlfriend or Hideous Best Friend Block)

O.K. so now you know when you are being blocked by your friend or a complete stranger from the male population. Now let's take a look at when your about to get blocked from a woman
. Yes, it's true. Not only guys play the blocking game, but women do, as well. Back to the party now! After a few more beers, the leftover flyer crew was beginning to hold conversations and flirt with my cool shirts crew. It appeared all was going good until out of the corner of my eye I saw the third and final block move coming from this heavy set girl, who appeared isolated from the conversation. This girl had no interest in us even though her friends did.

One quick wobble toward the table, car keys jingling, along with a swing of the purse over her shoulder, and suddenly it was time for her friends to go home
. This is the worst block situation. In this "girlfriend" or "hideous best friend" block scenario, the girl you are talking to actually likes you, but decides to call it a night before phone numbers are even exchanged. What a mess! How To Call A Woman And Set Up A Date?

So you've just met a gorgeous woman
and were able to get her email or phone number. You congratulate yourself momentarily, then the dread sets in...

How long should you wait before you contact her? And when should you take her out for a date?

There is a lot of controversy between "dating experts" on this subject. Conventional wisdom says you should wait a few days. Any sooner and she'll think you're desperate and her attraction radar will go down. We don't want that.

I can't speak for those experts. I can only speak from my experience. When I first was bitten with the dating bug, I read everything I could get my hands on. I even planned a vacation for Washington D.C. so I could stop in and check out the library of congress.

Since it was based on "research" that you should wait a few days before calling a woman
, I thought... who was I to argue with the "facts"?

Don't get me wrong this didn't get me bad results. However, I quickly started to find that a lot of other things I read from the "experts" didn't actually work in the dating field. Interesting. So what would happen if I experimented with the contact rule?

Here's what I did. Call or email the next day. Sometimes on the same day. In marketing, there is something called top of the mind awareness. The more your product is on the top of the mind of the consumer, the better your chance of a sale. I don't know if it's true in dating... but I found I got "top of the mind" placement by emailing or calling within 24 hours.

Onward

So you contact her. Now what do you do for the date? You know, different things work for different personality types. But there is one thing I have found that is universally a buzz kill. Traditional stuff. You can't bore a woman
into being attracted to you.

And know this: you can't bribe a woman into wanting you. Forget the fancy meals and drinks.

My students have found the most success by not even thinking in terms of "a date". The term dating has a certain connotation to it, doesn't it? Women, when they hear dating, place certain social expectations on it. More barriers for you to overcome. Not good.

I will give you one technique I use. It might not be perfect for you, but it as at least a good starting point to get the concept of "dating" out of your mind, and think more in terms of how to get women to feel attracted toward you. You don't need dating to do this.

Here's a typical scenario. When I call, I set up a meeting place for some tea. How soon? Here's how you do it: "Let's see, I have something going on Monday and Tuesday, and I have meeting this weekend, so how about Thursday?"

The actual number of days out you set up the date doesn't matter. What matters is that you frame it in a context of "fitting her in" between two things you are busy with. It shows you have things going on in your life, but you also willing to find time for her.

Also, I like to sell the idea that I'm interesting enough to be around without using a formal date crutch. This is crucial. I usually do this by saying, "We can go out for tea and have some stimulating conversation." Anything along those lines works well.

Now the hook is in place. But we aren't out of the woods yet. Let's take it a step further. I add on to the end, "If anything, sounds like I'll make a good friend."

You have now removed the dating implications completely. Also, you have subtly communicated that you will be qualifying her as much as she is qualifying you. Believe it or not, this heightens her attraction for you. Why? Well, most guys only have one qualifier to feel attraction for women. I'm sure you know what it is.

So, there you go. A simple strategy to follow for knowing when to call a woman
and how long before you take her out on a date. I'm sure there are as many ways to do this as the day is long, but based on my personal experience I have found this the easiest plan to follow.

When I started turning my dating life around, it was because I studied some one's body language, and simply copied it. Immediately it gave me the confidence I needed to approach women.

Ouch, That Hurt

The other day, I was doing some fabulous Combat Conditioning exercises, as taught by the incredible Matt Furey.

Being a fairly sedentary (a big word that means lazy ass) person, having a quick, fun work-out that I can do that actually makes me functionally fit, really feels good.

But today, contrary to Matt's advice, I over did it a bit, and as a result, I'm pretty sore.

Now, what in the world does this have to do with pulling hot women?

Simply this; in the beginning, when starting something new, pace yourself.

Look, as a human, you can learn to do pretty much anything, IF you do things gradually.

Too many guys, when they tried to seduce women anywhere, they try to jump in and do the hardest stuff first.

For example, even if they haven't had a woman
in a decade or even talked to one in the same length of time, they want to go right out, approach the hottest woman in town, and try to get her in the sack in a matter of minutes.

Now, far be it from me to discourage ambition, and trying to seduce women you can and will get these kinds of results.

But my stronger suggestion is: start out slow. Take one or two basic concepts, and apply them every day. Even if you only improve 1 percent a day, by the end of a couple of months, you'll be bouncing from girl to girl like a rabbit on a double frappucinno mocha latte, extra whip!

Why would she say she wants one thing, and then go for the complete opposite?

Is she just too dumb to realize what she's actually doing... or was she lying?

Neither, actually.

If this question has ever bothered you, within the next few minutes, it no longer will. You'll understand why women choose guys who they seem to say they don't want. The secret to understanding this seemingly odd mystery is to first realize that women leave a large portion of their 'ideal guy' OUT of their descriptions.

And without being aware of that missing part of their description, NONE of the stuff they do say they want in guys count for anything. Why women get together with guys they say they don't want is because he fits that missing part.

Imagine for a moment that a fat chick asks you for a description of your 'ideal woman
'. How do you respond? What do you say?

Naturally, we guys want larger breasted women with a fit and otherwise well proportioned figure. This is obvious to all men. We all understand this.

It's a given. There's no need for discussion on this topic, right?

But would you even consider mentioning it to this fat chick? Would it be a part of your description? Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps you wouldn't want to give her a reason to feel bad and blame you for it. But if you did, it would likely be more of a conclusion - a tag on.

"I want a chick who has personality. She has to have a great sense of humor and be out-going and fun to be around. She has to be smart and enjoy learning. She has to be responsible," along with a dozen other traits. "Oh, and looks of course."

Now imagine this fat chick had all of these things - aside from the looks, obviously. Would you want her? No way! Yet if you look at the description you gave, what determines your decision is in one short non-descriptive sentence and it's at the very BOTTOM of your list... where it has the LEAST impact on our obese inquisitive chick.

This means all the stuff ahead of it are just filler really. These are things you look for in a long-term relationship - assuming a woman
first meets your standards.

Obvious. No need for discussion. You get it, but the fat chick doesn't.

Why? Since it's small and at the bottom, she assumes it's not that important. After all, why would you include it last if it was crucial?

Women operate in a similar way. The missing part of their description is so obvious that they feel no need to really mention or explain it. And if they do, it too, is short and given little attention.

Because it's standard to them - as looks are to us - they assume it's common knowledge to everyone.

Ask a hot woman
what she wants in a guy, and she'll probably say something like this...

"I want a man with a great sense of humor. He has to be caring and nice, and treat me with respect. He has to be a good listener," along with an even longer list. "Oh, and of course, he has to know what he wants," she adds as a side note conclusion.

Within that sidenote lies the answer to why women get together with guys who may not be good for them personally.

Found! The Missing Description

So just what is so important in a woman's description of her 'ideal guy' that she omits, and why is it also the reason why women choose guys who may be seen as not worthy of them?

And just what exactly does it mean to know what you want, anyway?

There is no short answer to this question. Yet, most times, it gets so little attention from women when they describe their ideal guy. No wonder there's a good reason why women get together with guys who can be abusive, instead of going for the guy who has everything ELSE in her description.

They have THAT something, negative traits aside.

Just as that fat chick, looking at the bulk of your description and neglecting the all important final tag, will remain confused about how to get men (by losing weight), we have to understand exactly what women's final tag means.

It seems like everyone is looking for love and while we are trying to find our soul mate, we have TV, books and movies showing some happy couple meeting by happenstance and, of course, falling in love. How convenient for them but in most cases this is not how it happens. In real life you don't have someone designing a script of your life with the sole purpose of giving you a happy ending.

In real life you have to make your own happy endings. And it doesn't begin by wishing for your true love each night or staying home
on Saturday nights waiting for him to drop into your lap. Crazily enough you have to actually go out and socialize with others to increase your chances of finding the right one.

Here are some tips on how to find the right person for you while you are out looking for love. And this can be applied to those of you actively going out to clubs, hanging out in cafes, cruising the online dating sites, etc...

#1 - If you have the habit of saying how much you hate dating, stop it. You are already setting yourself up for some lousy dates by going into them with that attitude.

#2 - Know what you are looking for before you agree to go out on a date. If you are looking for a long term commitment then bar hopping is probably not the best method. If you are looking for someone to share your passion for sports, a sports club or the gym might be a better place to look.

#3 - Be open to meeting the man or woman
of your dreams anywhere, even in a grocery line or your local cafe.

#4 - Put the book, your PDA and your cell phone down. Why would someone approach you when you are making sure that you look busy?

#5 - Smile for goodness sake. Most of us go around with our eyes on the ground. Practice making eye contact and smiling. Studies show that a smile increases your attractiveness by a huge percentage.

#6 - Take care with your appearance. You don't have to look like you are going to a premier at two in the afternoon but comb your hair, make sure that there aren't any stains on your clothes and do your best to match. And for women apply at least a coat of lipstick.

#7 - Free dating services are great but remember that most of these services are not screened properly. Use caution and remember, shockingly enough, not everyone tells the truth in their personal ad.

#8 - Remember all dates are important dates. Whether you are going out for the first time or the fiftieth if you want to keep the passion going you must infuse each date with romance and enthusiasm.

What does every woman
want? I normally write about a wide-variety of subjects, but tonight this one is really on my heart. Here's what I think every woman wants.

A woman wants a man to listen to her. I mean REALLY listen. Not look around and watch T.V., but listen. She also wants someone she can talk to without him flying off at the handle over every little thing. She wants someone who is patient, firm, and fair with the children, but not abusive or loud.

Every woman wants to be appreciated, respected, and just simply feel that she is something "special." She wants to be accepted for who she is and she doesn't want you to try and change her all the time.

Every woman wants a spiritual leader. This one we men need to work on big time. A woman
wants you to take the family to church, to take charge when it comes to prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual matters. A woman wants you to sing, as the scripture says, to continuously encourage one another with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, and constant awareness of Christ and his presence as Head of the Household.

Every woman wants positive words. I've noticed that my wife brightens up the moment I release a word like: "You sure look pretty today, or wow, you are something special, and you look like the queen of England" just to name a few precious statements.

Every woman wants you to stay away from negativity. Give her love, love, love, all day long. Every woman
wants you to eat your negative words and release the positive ones. Every woman wants you to treat her as you would want to be treated. Those men out there who are bossing their wives and being too macho, take notice, you are only pushing her further away, not closer to you.

I heard a story recently from a friend who told me about this guy Tony who started making more money and went to the top of his company, only to spend less and less time with his family-true story. Someone here locally with a brand new wonderful home
in Rancho Cucamonga, CA near the Victoria Gardens mall. The wife told him "You better start spending more time with me, or else."

Long story short, the man came home one night only to find everything gone. I mean everything. Furniture, phone, you name it. He never saw his kids again and was left with nothing. He forgot to do what every woman wants: pay attention to warning signs.

Let's face it, as my pastor says, we are all "replaceable." None of us are all that and a bag of chips! We must guard our mouths. One of my prayers each day is: "Lord put a guard over my mouth and watch over the door of my lips." It is so important to watch our mouths with our beloved wife.

I believe that every woman
wants a man who has vision. A man who will go forward to accomplish goals and dreams. Scripture says "without a vision, the people perish." Forgive me for not citing actual chapter and verse, but the words of our Lord are everlasting nonetheless! There are too many men out there who are satisfied with status quo, when God has promised us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

Every woman wants you to give your all. It's not enough for you to just do "whatever." Women want a visionary who will help the family achieve their every dream and goal. Some women seem to be satisfied with a man who works and brings home
a paycheck, and is good to the family. That's fine too.

Every woman wants a working man. If you are self-employed, you must be making over $2500 a month or your just playing. If you are in a home business, that same number applies, again, or you're just playing.

Men must work. No doubt about it. Every woman wants a working man. If you're not working, no woman
wants you. They may say they do, but deep down, they don't.

In conclusion though, every woman wants a MAN. This is someone who will love her, die for her, be playful, curious, and funny with her, make sure that she is taken care of, not speak negatively toward her ever, protect her, do everything that she likes, watch over her, keep her, be best friends with her, make date nights a priority, love the children, but not more than her, love Christ with all his heart, and not just be a Sunday Christian.

She also wants stability. Every woman wants stability financially, spiritually, and socially. She wants someone with dollars and sense, someone who will have knowledge in financial matters, not just pretend. Every woman wants someone who is stable. Don't expect to get an awesome wife if you're not stable. Don't expect to get a decent woman if you're not stable.

Stable means a lot of things, but every woman wants a MAN who has a good temper, a deep pocketbook and heart, a good name and reputation (single women take note of this list please), not someone who stirs up rumors or talks about people, someone who is kind, a man who is family orientated, a passionate man, a loving man, a man who is on fire for the Lord, not just on Sunday only, a man who would die for her.

Most of all though, every woman wants you to love her and place that love above everything else except God. Also, every woman wants a man who will continue to WORK at the relationship and not quit. By not quitting and working, you are telling her that you love her. Every woman also wants you to keep your word. That means fulfill your vows and do what you say you are going to do. And be there for her days of plenty and days of lack. That's what every woman truly wants.
